Hi my name is Montwedi Lekone id:1071117473 am the leader of Palau Perhentian group.

I was doing the part of travelling tips part.

My understanding of digital media in now better than before because when I registered for this subject I thought we where only to concentrate on photoshop,but I learned different software’s like flash,dreamweaver which was very interesting.

The problem I had was that I couldn’t manage my time very well so I ended up doing my work at last minute.

My motivation level out of 10 I would say its a 7…

Working with a group is always an experience because most of the time some group members would not all be present during meetings but I would I don’t mind working in group.

Working on this project was interesting plus I was the group leader which meant I had to be put extra effort.

I would say my teammates were very cooperative even we had our differences but the job was done.

Well my effort was 110% since I was the leader I had to put extra effort and like I said my team was very cooperative I don’t mind working with them again.

• At this Pulau Perhentian there also a jungle that be an habitat to a certain animal.For people that love natural can go for jungle trekking and might meet a few island animals.

1. How is your understanding of the topic after doing the project? Understanding about digital media?

2. This subject got many things to been learn. As in this subject it need to understanding about the software. And need more practice in the use of the software. Here I always use the YouTube in order to learn more about the software.

3. What were the problems faced during the project? How did you/your team solve your group problems?

   I got a technical problem like when view in the internet explore the cells of menu get stretch when there is a lot content in the column next to it. This problem is solve by try to ask people and go online to a forum that give online tutorial.

4. What would you do differently next time?

   If I have another chance to this again I will make sure that I will improve the design of the website. Also will learn more about Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash.

5. How is your motivation level?

   From the beginning already had high motivation in doing this project. As it new things to me. The tutorial and lecture has give lot help in finish this assignment. I feel better as I have done the assignment.

   Workings with group and team leader are great as all are corporative to the task. All group member willing to put times and effort to done the project.

7. How was it working on the project?

   It’s hard but with a teammate that help each other had make this project be easier to complete it.

• The main accommodation in Pulau Perhentian is their hotel and resort. Many facilities were provided to the tourist who really interested in sea such as snorkeling,abseiling, fish feeding and others. Thed room that were provided were suitable with the tourist budget.

Digital Media do have a lot of things to learn and need more time to learn it because we have to learned the skill how to do it for example dreamweaver. I have to practice frequently not only by just learning from notes but practice a lot by using youtube.

During the project I have difficulties on finishing the link that I am do it because I am a slow learner. But I do try my best to finish the part that I used to do. My group members help me and teach me a lot on doing this asgnment.

3. What would you do differently next time?

Try to learn more about the software especially flash because I found it very interesting.

4. How is your motivation level?

I have a high motivation level. I am willing to do my best in this subject and work hard to learn new things. Tutorial and classes help me a lot in studying digital media.

I have a very cooperative groups.All members are willing to sacrifice their times in order to finished up this assignment. We also can easily discuss on what part that we did not understand.

1. How is your understanding of the topic after doing the project? Understanding about digital media?

   I get more knowledge and learn when I doing the project use the skill and software such as Photoshop and adobe Dreamweaver. About the digital media I understand more software when I taking this subject, because before I’m taking this subject I didn’t know how to do and use Photoshop software.

2. What were the problems faced during the project? How did you/your team solve your group problems?

The problem faced during the project is we have a lot of idea and we don’t have a good skill to doing the project. My team chooses the right way and decides a good idea for the project. My team solve problem through a meeting and learn the skill with another friend.

3. What would you do differently next time

I do and try the best to do my part use the software and I like it when I do this project.

I think will high motivation level because when I cannot do this project but I try to do it my best and i ask my friend to teach the software. I also don’t give up and I like this subject because I can learn new software.

I don’t have problem with my group, team leader, tutorial group leader and project manager because when I lose the information, I can get it back. My friend can tell me and share with me when we got new information.

My teams do the work on time. The project can be easy because my team giving lot cooperation when we team needed in the meeting. We use any software that has been taught by lecture.

Everything its o.k. My teams meet together to share and solve the problem. Team leader also make a good job and making the team finish the job on time follow the time table.

Objective of the link

The objective of this link is to inform those who are planning on visiting Perhentian Island on getting there. I discuss in my link the three ways one can get to Perhentian which is either by land, by flight, or by train.

Use of tools

Photoshop - my groupmates and I designed the website we used photoshop to create the layout and design a logo.

Dreamweaver - When layout is done I import our design into dreamweaver and added the pictures that would go along with the content. I also make another link to my content for our design we're using iframe for a nicer looking interface.

Flash - as for the flash we decided on a simple flash as an introduction the the website. Just to make the pictures move around.

   I have a better understanding of the subject, but I still need a lot of practice because I still need to look at tutorials to do everything. But I do understand the process of making a website.

2. What were the problems faced during the project? How did you/your team solve your group problems?

   Technical problems like things coming out in the website differently then we thought. We solved it by going online for tutorials and managed to fix the problem.

3. What would you do differently next time?

   Make use of consultations with tutors and lecturers.

   Very low at first, but good now that we have managed to complete the task.

   Group and team leader were good very cooperative. I haven't really talked to the tutorial group leader or project manager except for us handing him the final project.

   Hell to be honest. :p But, everything worked out for the best. We made a really good website.

   They were good to work with, we had different ideas at times, but it all turned out fine in the end, we cooperated.

   I think our effort is remarkable. I think we put more effort into this more than any subject this semester. We broke our backs trying to finish it and make everything perfect. I could say this for all of us.
